forgive me if this seems narcissistic, but I've never given the proper recognition to the art that is my nails. so here we go. big ups to kevin's ongles.







I'm moving in 3 days and I'm excited to the max.

I'm also watching The Godfather 3, and this may be generalizing a little...but 'respect' or not, these Italian mafia guys are pretty homoerotic. It also made me realize that when/if I have a family, I want to have big ridiculous family pictures on giant staircases where we all wear a lot of velvet and big bows.

Right now I'm watching 'My Cousin Vinny' for the first time ever and I think I'm in love with Marisa Tomei's character Mona Lisa Vito. At one point in the movie she wears a one piece, long-sleeved, pant unitard/turtle neck that is black with pink floral patter all over it and high heels. Incredible.
Her outfit in the opening scene is one of my dream outfits too.
There aren't many good pictures of this movie on the internet because it was from '92, but here's what I could get.





my blogs have been few and far between lately, as I have been very busy. I started school 3 weeks ago, and it's pretty fun. I'm pretty bogged down between work/homework/packing/everything else. I got all my student loan stuff handed in the other day though so everyone cross your fingers for me that it goes through ok and then I will be a little less fucked in life.

woah. i just saw a commercial for a paint that has air freshening properties in it. how is there that and not a cure for cancer yet?

today I was walking down the street and there was a group of activists handing things out. some guy handed me something that i assumed would be a flyer or something and saw that it was a magazine that said 'suggested $5 donation' on it, so I said 'no thanks, I don't have any money' and handed it back to him, then he told me i could just have it but he had to explain it and then went on to say a whole bunch of shit i didn't understand - not because i don't understand politics and economic topics - but because the things he was saying were made up and had no connection to eachother and we're completely irrelevant. I took home the magazine and it was all about how Al Gore was a weasel and had several pictures of him as a weasel. It was pretty funny. But like I said - a crock of shit.

i'm going to watch the end of the movie. more blog later.
